We bring you a 30-track playlist with the very best of ayumi hamasaki. I organized this playlist keeping in mind introducing the artist to new fans who might not know where to begin. This playlist starts with electropop bangers, following some angry rock and her very famous ballads about searching for purpose in life. It's basically 101 ayumi hamasaki, remiding people why she's the Empress of J-Pop.


Also, being a fan of hers for 10 years already, I personally don't consider classics like "Boys & Girls" and "SEASONS" quite as essential as some deep cuts – such as "alterna", which I did include in the playlist. I preferred to keep a balance between what I consider timeless and what might bring new audience closer. New fans will be challenged to endure "Boys & Girls" being performed in every single concert they watch of her anyways, haha.
